Gfs in Japan: Harajuku

Yesterday evening, we took a train down the Chuo line to colourful Harajuku! Harajuku crowds
This has got to be one of my favourite places in Tokyo!
Harajuku shopping
You will see all kinds of people in all manner of dressing here.

And there are rows upon rows of shops selling everything from lingerie and clothes to kinky Cosplay costumes!

Habz was saying how surreal it was to be walking down Harajuku.
Hello Harajuku!
She felt as if she was in a fantasy movie set with fake streets and fake people.
Hello Harajuku!
We did a lot of browsing in the many stores. Admittedly, most of the stores had really pricey stuff after conversion to Singapore dollars.
cool stores
But being seasoned shoppers, we managed to hunt down really good bargains! There were several shoe stores with crazy blow out sales where I bought soft brown pumps and espadrilles. And there were shops selling the prettiest summer frocks and embroidered tops. I bought a bagful of dresses and tops. Can't wait to show Aidil!
Finding good bargains
Hello Farhanah and Mukhtar!

And oh my god! Look what I found at one of the train stations!

Doughnut plant is currently one of the best donut stores in New York. I was going to give myself a 2 year deadline to get to New York and sample their donuts. So to have found them here on this trip was really an unexpected bonus!
my square donut
I had their famous square donut: vanilla, mango and pineapple flavoured glazzy. Omg it was divine!
