I decided to drag my sister, Azura along who happily came just so that she can go for her science practical class late. Real late.
What did Azura have? I have got no ideaaaaaaaaa.... Shaz says its scrambled eggs with smoked salmon & creme fraiche. Whatever that is...

I, in my all non-hoity-toityness, thought I was ordering a main dish but ended up with a salad with crappy soft shell crab which is so glamourously called soft shelled crab with celeriac rocket & asparagus dijonaise mustard dressing. My law book titles are shorter than that.
Because of that, I ordered the next familiar thing I knew - Burger and fries! Damn it, I should have just ordered that from the beginning. So ladies and gentlemen, when out dining in some weird place with weird people, order what is familiar! Thankfully, it was good and juicy. Not to mention huge. *Burp*
Shaz was happy with what she ordered. Some hoity-toity dish which is essentially just penne pasta, olive oil, cheese and some greens that I can grow in a pot in my dusty room. It is called penne with fresh pesto tomato & grilled butternut.
But all in all, I think that the cupcakes at Marmalade Pantry are the best EVER. My favourite is the lemon zest cupcake which I think beats any other cakes I have ever tasted other than my birthday cakes (which Shaz orders every year without fail from choc.a.bloc). Yes, having a hoity-toity foodie girlfriend does have its perks: she will always source out quality eateries and bakeries and, enjoys splurging on good eats for me. Hohoho. Anyway, Shaz enjoyed a peanut butter cupcake which they call the Elvis. I didn't know that Elvis loved peanut butter but oh well... Oh, the rich chocolate cake base had banana slices. But apparently not enough to persuade me to eat it. I hate peanut butter. I hate anything with peanuts or its derivatives. Period.
Azura had the nutella cupcake. Well, it is self-descriptive and sinfully rich. I have too many sins thats why I didn't eat it too.
Oh my God, I just realised that I am so lame that I really have to go now before I embarrass myself further. Byebye.
